As you enter, notice the Roman numerals above each archway, and hear captivating stories of emperors, gladiators, and the epic battles that took place within these ancient walls.

After exploring the Colosseum, walk through the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Pass by the triumphal Arch of Constantine and learn about the legendary founding of Rome by twins Romulus and Remus. Inside the Roman Forum, you’ll see the Arch of Titus, the House of the Vestal Virgins, and the burial site of Julius Caesar, all set in what was once a vast swampland. Finally, ascend Palatine Hill to view the ruins of the Imperial Palaces, from which Rome's emperors once ruled.

Amazing place

Your Guide Rosa was enthusiastic knowledgeable and had a very warm and friendly personality. She made the tour extremely interesting especially with her use of books showing reconstructions of the various monuments. Well Done Rosa.
