Your day begins with a 6:45 AM high-speed train from Rome to Florence. Upon arrival, meet your guide and depart at 8:45 AM for a scenic drive to Monteriggioni, a perfectly preserved medieval village featured in The Gladiator and Assassin’s Creed. Learn about Tuscany’s history and cuisine as you explore. Next, visit Siena, home to the famous Piazza del Campo and the Palio horse race. After an orientation walk, enjoy free time to explore its charming streets and the impressive Siena Cathedral. Travel through Chianti, Tuscany’s wine haven. Visit a local winery to taste 7 wines, extra virgin olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, paired with a traditional Tuscan meal.
Finally, continue to San Gimignano, the “Manhattan of Tuscany,” known for its medieval towers and UNESCO status. Stroll through its cobblestone alleys and lively piazzas. After a day of unforgettable sights and flavors, return to Florence for your train back to Rome.

No refunds will be issued if you miss the train

If you wish to stay longer in Florence you can take a later train back to Rome. Please inform the local operator when booking
